Sam: “Dude, you know something, I put up with a lot from you.”

Dean: “Whatya talkin’ bout I’m a joy to be around.”

Sam: “Yeah? You have dirty socks in the sink, you have food in the fridge.”

Dean: “What’s wrong with my food?”

Sam: “It’s not food anymore Dean! It’s Darwinism!!”

Dean: “Well, I like it.”

Hahahahha I’m so glad I’ve started watching this show.

“As Susan left her driveway, she had a feeling she was being watched…and she was. The ghosts of people who had been part of Wisteria Lane were gazing upon her as she passed. They watched her as they watched everyone, always hoping the living could learn to put away rage and sorrow, bitterness and regret. These ghosts watch wanting people to remember that even the most desperate life is oh…so wonderful.”- Mary Alice Young, Series Finale

I literally just spent 20 minutes like crying to my sister about how great this show was and how surprised I am that I enjoyed it as much as I did. I resisted watching Desperate Housewives until I was 19, 5 years after it had become a primetime tv hit. I thought, “This show will be like all the rest: full of extreme and unrealistic dilemmas and loads of desensitized sexual content.” Thank you Sarah for making me watch that first episode of season 1. Desperate Housewives was one of the realest, most primal examples of life at its most complex and beautiful state. The dialogues, the characters, how the characters grew, everything, was exemplary of a beautiful journey, one not void of struggle and pain. It really was one of the best written shows I’ve ever seen and I’m really going to miss it. Goodbye, Wisteria Lane. You were a great place to grow up.
